We are looking for experienced HVAC technicians to install, repair, and maintain air conditioning systems for Simcoe Muskoka Home Comfort. A G2 gas ticket is our minimum requirement; sheet metal and AC/refrigeration tickets are an asset. Our work includes custom builds, new construction, and retrofits.

Duties:
- Install mini-split AC systems, heat pumps, gas furnaces, and ductwork in residential settings.
- Read and interpret drawings and blueprints; ensure compliance with manufacturer’s specifications for equipment.
- Determine best system design, materials needed, and job tasks required.
- Ensure personal and client safety by following all safety procedures and utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Provide and utilize appropriate hand tools.
- Create positive relations with team members and clients through effective communication and problem-solving.
- Provide superior customer service.
- Create and update records and reports as required.
- Actively participate in the training and mentoring of other team members.
- Communicate with management on job progress.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic license, with 313A/313D Ontario Certification.
- At least one year of experience designing, installing, and maintaining mini-split AC systems, heat pumps, gas furnaces, and ductwork for residential and light commercial systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to complete complex tasks safely and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Class G Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Additional certification as a Sheet Metal Mechanic is an asset.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $19.00–$44.00 per hour
